The future can keep its secrets but it cannot take away this moment of deep content with life, can it ? One may have known singing happiness, intense pain, a terrible dullness in the past, but to arrive at a point of equanimity within oneself, a moment heightened by an acute but calmer self-awareness of permanent vulnerability and the confidence of being human is to be content with the moment, and realizing that it is the best it can ever be
